Do you need spiritual freedom from oppression? This prayer will set you free from all chains. In the scripture, the number 20 often signifies a period of waiting or preparation. For instance, Jacob waited 20 years to be freed from Laban’s control and finally returned home (Genesis 31:38-41). Similarly, the Israelites waited 20 years for Samson to begin delivering them from the Philistines (Judges 15:20).

Today, In the name of Jesus, I am free from all kinds of chains holding me down. Chains of Barrenness, Fears, Sin, Death, canality which exercised lordship over my life in Jesus Name. Amen. John 8:36

Brethren, God’s plan for you and me is for us to live in total freedom from all kinds of oppression. Romans 8:1-2 tells us that Jesus Christ offers freedom from sin and death through salvation. In Romans 8:2, we read, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” Thanks be to God, a way of escape has been made for the sinner—a way of escape from sin, from death, from carnality which has exercised lordship over him.

Therefore, you deserve freedom from every side. Today, you will pray for your way to freedom.

If your faith is alive, come pray our way to freedom.

Prayer for Freedom

Prayer 1:

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for your Son Jesus who died on the cross to set me free. Lord God, I come before You today, seeking freedom from the chains that bind me. You have promised that where Your Spirit is, there is freedom. I ask for deliverance from every fear, doubt, or oppression that seeks to keep me in bondage. Release me from the grip of anything that holds me captive, be it sin, addiction, or negative thoughts. I declare Your freedom over my life, and I ask for Your strength to walk in that freedom daily. In Jesus’ name, Amen. – John 8:36

Prayer 2:

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I lift myself before You, asking for Your divine intervention in my life. You are a God of deliverance, and I believe that You can set me free from the chains of addiction, and oppression. Break every stronghold keeping me from experiencing the fullness of Your grace and peace. Surround me with Your love and let me find strength in You. I pray for freedom in my mind, body, and soul. Amen. Psalm 107:14

Prayer 3:

Gracious God, in the Name of Jesus, You are the God of justice and compassion. I pray for all those who are suffering under oppression, injustice, and persecution. You hear the cries of the afflicted, and Your heart breaks for the oppressed. I ask that You bring freedom and justice to those in need. Break the chains of slavery, oppression, and discrimination. Guide leaders and those in power to act with wisdom and compassion. Let Your righteousness prevail, and may those in bondage experience true freedom through Your grace. Amen. – Proverbs 31:8-9

Prayer 4:

Lord of all nations, I come to You in intercession for my country, asking that You bring freedom to every heart and home. I pray for those who live under the weight of tyranny, injustice, or corruption. Let Your Spirit move in power to break the systems of injustice and bring light into the darkest places. I ask that You raise up leaders with integrity, courage, and a heart for the people. May Your peace reign, and may freedom be established for all. In Your holy name, Amen. Proverbs 29:2

Prayer 5:

Father in heaven, I pray for the spiritual freedom of those trapped in darkness, sin, or unbelief. Open their eyes to see Your truth, and let them experience the joy of Your salvation. Break every spiritual chain that holds them back from knowing Your love. Let the light of Your Spirit shine in their hearts, and may they experience the freedom that only Christ can give. In the name of Jesus, who came to set the captives free, I pray. Amen. – Romans 8:1

Prayer 6:

Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. I come before You asking for freedom from anxiety and fear for myself and others. You did not give us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. Help us to trust in Your perfect love, which casts out all fear. Free us from the worry that weighs us down, and help us to walk in Your peace. I declare freedom from fear and anxiety in Your mighty name. Amen. – Isaiah 41:10

Prayer 7:

God of all people, I come to You on behalf of those who suffer because of racism, discrimination, and inequality. Your word says that You created all people in Your image, and You command us to love one another. I ask for justice, healing, and reconciliation in places where oppression reigns. May Your justice flow like a river and righteousness like a never-failing stream. Give us the courage to stand up for the oppressed and work toward true equality and freedom for all. In Your name, Amen. Leviticus 19:18
